Iron Cast Bathtub Customization
This iron cast bathtub customization took place in California in 2014 at the request of some friends. It is filled with details and symbols they requested and was a very fun project. It was done with acrylic paint although proper varnishing was later applied. It took me about 7 days to complete the entire project.
The concept for this piece was to use the rounded 360 degree canvas the bathtub provided to portray different dimensions of reality and stages of life. It is my way to communicate how I see the cycle of incarnation in a very simple and peaceful light. It holds messages from my own subconscious which I am still deciphering and figuring out to this day, so I hope you all have fun with it.
Fountain
Construction
This is a quick step by step
of a fountain I built in 2016.
South of Bahia - Brazil
The rim of this fountain was built using plastic bottles filled with all the plastic packaging and just about any other plastic I consumed over the course of 2 years.
Each bottle was filled to its maximum capacity and partially dug into the ground in order to give the structure more support.
The mixture I used to cover
was 3 parts sifted clay earth
and 1 part cement.
I also used some palm tree fiber on the floor to make
it stronger.
Pachamama Mural
This mural was done with acrylic paint.
This one took me about 5 hours to complete.
